Happy Thanksgiving and Meteor Showers

The fall weather with the on and off rain was like a second spring. The flowers were blooming like crazy. It was like living in butterfly garden. It was extraordinary; the best fall we’ve had in years, however the early freezes brought in what passes as winter here in Texas. The Leonid meteor showers brought us a sonic boom on November 16th at 9:25 Austin time. I had seen another meteor about 2 hours earlier. It came in low enough I could see the shape of it before it burned out. It was amazing to see.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s nice that we have such a holiday such as that to remember our blessings.
