Some of our favorites:

Santa Catarina in Lakeway for interior Mexican:

The Happy Hour M-F is excellent. The best margaritas in the world! The Coctel de Camarones or the Totopos Catarina are fantastic and the dinners are great!

Madam Mams in Bee Cave for Thai Food:

Try the Pineapple Fried Rice!

Simply Pho House in Bee Cave for Asian Fusion:

Spring Rolls, Grilled Chicken Vermicelli and Shock Top beer is very good!

Rosie’s Tamale House in Bee Cave for Tex-Mex:

A fixture in this area before Bee Cave was more than a wide spot on the road. Rosie’s is so old-school, they don’t even have a website. If you want Tex-Mex this is the place to go. Unadorned, down home, and Willie has walked through that door so much that he has a plate named after him, the “Willie’s Plate.”

It All Good BBQ on Hwy 71 west of Bee Cave:

Dave loved it. That’s all you need to know!

Angel’s Ice House on Hwy 71 west of Bee Cave:

If it’s Tuesday it is Taco night. And not just any kind of taco. They keep you coming back for more, more, and more, and the rest of the menu is very good. A road house, but kid friendly with lots of room for the kids to run.

La Cabana on Hwy 71 west of Bee Cave:

Mexican Martinis and Fajitas make any night good!

Tony C’s Coal Fired Pizza/Hill Country Galleria Cinemark Movie Theater in Bee Cave for Italian Food:
https://www.tonycs.com/
Tuesday’s are 2-for-1 Pizza Night and discount movies for first run movies at the theater right next door. Try the Primo Pizza, substitute artichoke hearts for the red peppers and have the Beet Arugala salad with Thirsty Goat beer and you’re ready for anything…say hi to Brian the bartender.
